TeamPass Login and Access Support

In order to access the TeamPass pages your internet browser must accept cookies and allow JavaScript to execute on all "Steelers.com" pages.  If you currently cannot access the TeamPass pages this page can help you find make the neccesary adjustments to your browser

Testing my browser's access to TeamPass

  1. Test your Login Cookie.
    1. Login to the site.  (Enter your username and password and click LOGIN.)
    2. Click on the Steelers Logo in the upper left of the screen.
    3. Look to see if the FANZONE box still recognizes that you are logged in.  Does it say "welcome your_username."  If it displays the login boxes again then your computer did not accept the cookie from our server and you must read " Allowing cookies from Steelers.com"
    4. If you are still logged into the site, click "view Account"
    5. Verify that your current account is registered for TeamPass.  In the section "Account Services," is one of the options "TeamPass" selected?  If not, then your account is a standard user account and cannot access TeamPass.  You may need to review which Steelers acocunt you used to purchase TeamPass.
    6. If your account is registered for TeamPass continue with "Testing JavaScript"
  2. Testing JavaScript
    1. At this point you are logged into Steelers.com with an account that is registered for TeamPass
    2. Click on the link "TEAMPASS" in the upper-left.
    3. If you only see the TeamPass registration and marketing page, then you computer did not allow JavaScript to send your computer to the TeamPass servers.  Please read " Allowing JavaScript form Steelers.com"
    4. If you see the TeamPass pages then you computer settings are ok.

 

Allowing cookies from Steelers.com.

For Internet Explorer ver 6.00 and above (hint: Windows XP, XP Pro)

  1. Go to the menu Tools
  2. Select  Internet Options
  3. In the popup window select the tab Privacy.
  4. Move the slider to the setting "Medium ". 
  5. Click "Apply".
  6. Retry Testing my browser's access to TeamPass 
  7. If you still cannot login, click on the button "Edit" .  Otherwise you are done.
  8. In the popup window, enter "*.steelers.com" in the field 'Add this Web site to the zone.'  Now click the button "Allow"
  9. Click "OK" .  The popup will now close.
  10. Click "Apply" to accept the changes made.
  11. Retry Testing my browser's access to TeamPass.
  12. If you still cannot login contact support.

For Internet Explorer ver 5.50 and below (hint: Windows 95,98,2000)

  1. Go to the menu Tools
  2. Select  Internet Options
  3. In the popup window select the tab Security.
  4. Click on the icon named "Internet".
  5. Move the slider to the setting "Medium". 
  6. Click "Apply".
  7. Retry Testing my browser's access to TeamPass 
  8. If you still cannot login, click on the icon named "Trusted Sites".
  9. If the Security level for this zone is "Custom"  go to step-10, otherwise select Medium, Medium-Low, or Low.  go to step-12
  10. In the popup window, enter "*.steelers.com" in the field 'Add this Web site to the zone.'  Now click the button "Allow"
  11. Click "OK".  The popup will now close.
  12. Click "Apply" to accept the changes made.
  13. Retry Testing my browser's access to TeamPass.
  14. If you still cannot login contact support.

 

Allowing JavaScript from Steelers.com

  1. Go to the menu Tools
  2. Select  Internet Options
  3. In the popup window select the tab Security.
  4. Click on the icon named " Internet".
  5. If the Security level for this zone is "Custom"  go to step-6, otherwise select Medium, Medium-Low, or Low.  go to step-8
  6. Click on the button "Custom Level"
  7. In the popup window, locate the section "Scripting."   Locate the item "Active Scripting."  and select "Enable".
  8. Click "OK" to accept the changes made.
