Appeared in 43 games
with 35 starts for the Spartans and established a school record with 148
receptions for 1,755 yards and nine touchdowns. 2006: Ranked second on the team in
receptions (44), receiving yards (518) and touchdown catches (3) as a senior…
established a new school record with 14 catches in a victory over Eastern
Michigan. 2005: Appeared in all 11 games as a junior with nine
starts, finished second on the team in receptions (40) and receiving yards (573)
while catching at least one pass in all 11 games. 2004: Started all 11 games at split end
as a sophomore, ending the season with 36 receptions for 405 yards and two
touchdowns. 2003: Saw action in the
first 11 games (six starts) as a freshman, finishing with 28 receptions for 259
yards.
PERSONAL: Was a three-year
letterman (2004-06) on the Spartans basketball team, earning the Unsung Player
Award and the Antonio Smith Glue and Guts Award for his contributions during the
2005-06 season…was a member of the 2004-05 team, appearing in 26 games, that
advanced to the NCAA Final Four in St. Louis…sat out his senior hoops season
preparing for his NFL career. High
School: Three-year starter at wide receiver and two-year starter at safety
at Northern (Flint, MI) High School…had 78 career receptions for 1,385 yards
