COLLEGE: The Jamaican native helped the Cowboys rank eighth in the nation in tackles behind the line of scrimmage (7.69 per game, tops in the conference) and 12th in sacks (2.92 per game)…Led the team and ranked third in the Big Twelve Conference with three forced fumbles in 2006…The team compiled a 5-2 record in 2006 in games that McBean registered a tackle behind the line of scrimmage. 2006: Started 12 games at left defensive tackle, coming off the bench vs. Houston (team opened the game using a nickel back)…Recorded 25 tackles (12 solos) with 4.5 sacks for minus 42 yards and seven stops for losses of 44 yards…Recovered a fumble and caused three others…Also credited with one quarterback pressure…Helped the team rank eighth in the nation and lead the Big Twelve Conference with an average of 7.69 tackles behind the line of scrimmage in each game…The team also ranked 12th nationally and third in the Big Twelve with an average of 2.92 sacks per game. 2005: Started every game at left defensive tackle during his first season at Oklahoma State…Had 37 tackles (20 solos) with three sacks for minus 17 yards and 5.5 stops for losses totaling 25 yards…Recovered a pair of fumbles, deflected one pass and blocked a kick.
