Welcome to the Pittsburgh Steelers Media Relations
Site. This site is accessible by registration only. The site provides the
media with the most up-to-date information on the team, including rosters,
statistics, depth chart, quotes, press releases and more. This site is strictly for media
(including newspaper, television and radio stations) who cover the Pittsburgh Steelers, their
upcoming opponents and the National Football
League on a regular basis for game coverage only. To Gain Access:
Register
with our web site by clicking here. Once you
complete a successful registration, email your username by
clicking here on Media Relations(this email address is strictly for media access to
the website, not for other media relations
inquiries). Please include MEDIA on the subject line of the email. Also include
your media affiliation, work address and work phone number. Please be
sure to email from your
work email (newspaper, television or radio station email) and provide a website link
to your media outlet.
We will review your registration information and send you an email
only if your security access has been approved. All media outlets will be checked
to assure that they fall in the guidelines of those who cover the
Pittsburgh Steelers, their opponents and the National Football League on a regular basis for
game coverage only. We do reserve the right to deny access to any
outlets that are not confirmed as
media outlets (such as fan sites, blogs, sites that charge fees for content and other related
sites).
Once approved, return to Steelers.com, and login
with your username and password. If you are an approved media
representative, you will notice a new link in the left navigation titled
"Media Only". To sign on: Go to the left nav bar and where it says
registration type in user name and password and click on login now. For
some reason, it might make you do this step twice. Once login is done
you will see Account Services come up on the page. You can ignore
that. At this point on the left nav bar you should see MEDIA ONLY (right
above Media Relations).
