PITTSBURGH
— Heinz Field management is reminding fans attending Saturday’s (June 14) Kenny
Chesney concert of stadium policies that are in place at Heinz Field. Saturday
is the only night that the award-winning country music entertainer will perform
in Pittsburgh as part of his 2008 Poets and Pirates Tour.

a themed area that will feature live performances, vendors, food and beverage
located on Art Rooney Avenue, and The Coca-Cola Great Hall open at 1 p.m. and
are open only to fans with a concert ticket. All gates open by 2 p.m. Former
lead singer of Trick Pony, Heidi Newfield, will perform live in the Coca-Cola
Great Hall at 3 p.m. Newfield’s performance is presented by Froggy
Radio.
The 2008 Poets and Pirates Tour concert begins in the
main bowl at 4 p.m. All parking lots open by 10 a.m. Oversized vehicles are
prohibited in the parking lots.
Fans are encouraged to park in the Golden Triangle
(downtown), where over 20,000 parking spaces are
available.
The ticket window for day of concert ticket sales and Will Call open at 1
p.m. and are located at Gate B.
Fans are reminded of the following stadium
policies:

Coolers, Thermoses, bags,
backpacks, large purses (larger than 8½ by 11), cans, bottles, flasks, alcoholic
beverages, laser pointers, strollers, video/movie cameras, tripods, audio
recording equipment, banners/signs on poles, weapons and any other item deemed
dangerous and/or inappropriate are prohibited.

Small purses, fanny packs,
small camera cases and binocular cases will be permitted, however, all bags are
subject to inspection. All bags that do not pass security must be returned to
vehicles.
PennDOT has advised fans that certain construction
projects may impact access to and from Heinz Field on Saturday. Fans traveling
to the concert are advised that Route 28 may be closed south of the Route 910
Harmar interchange (Exit 11). Also, Main Street at the West End Circle will be
closed.
Following the concert, fans are advised the High
Occupancy Vehicle (HOV) lanes will be closed to I-279 North. Further, I-376 from
the Edgewood/Swissvale interchange (Exit 3) to the Churchill interchange (Exit
10A) may be restricted to one lane
eastbound.
