Max Starks Signs One-Year Transition Tender

 

 

PITTSBURGH — Steelers’ offensive lineman Max Starks has signed his one-year tender offer, it was announced today.

 

Starks (6-8, 337) will enter his fifth year with the Steelers after being drafted by the team in the third round (75^th overall) in the 2004 NFL Draft. Starks has appeared in 56 career games with 34 starts, including four in 2007.

 

Starks, an unrestricted free agent, was designated by the Steelers as a transition player, giving the Steelers the right to match any offers he received from other teams.
