Steelers Draft Day Sweepstakes

Steelers.com welcomes you to our 2008 draft day sweepstakes.

CONTEST: Select who you believe the Steelers will draft with their first round pick (or if they were to make a trade - their first overall pick of the draft). You must provide the complete name of the player, his position and college.

DEADLINE: You have from Thursday, April 24 at 12:00 noon (Eastern time) until Saturday, April 26 at 10:00 a.m. (Eastern time) to email your selection. Emails received outside of that time frame will not be accepted.

SUBMIT: Email your entry to mailto:steelersfeedback@yahoo.com.  Again, any received outside of the time frame of the contest will not be valid entries. ONE ENTRY PER PERSON AND PER EMAIL ADDRESS. 

GUIDELINES: The following information must appear in your email. Any incomplete information will make your email invalid.

PRIZES:
The first place winner will receive four tickets to a Steelers 2008 regular season home game at Heinz Field. The date of the game will be selected by the Pittsburgh Steelers.

The second place winner will receive four tickets to a Steelers 2008 pre-season home game at Heinz Field. The date of the game will be selected by the Pittsburgh Steelers.

The third place winner will receive a VIP training camp visit for four for the 2008 Steelers training camp.

The fourth place winner will receive a football signed by the Steelers 2008 first-round (or their first overall) pick.

The fifth place winner will receive a Steelers t-shirt and hat.

PRIZE DRAWING: Due to the fact that there may be multiple correct selections, the winners will be determined by a random drawing of all correct entries and that drawing will take place on Tuesday, April 29. The winners will be notified by either email or phone. If nobody picks correctly, there will be a random drawing of all entries.

In order to obtain your prize you may need to provide valid photo ID. By submitting an entry you have agreed to all of the official contest rules.

Steelers Draft Day Sweepstakes Official Rules

No Purchase Necessary to enter or win this sweepstakes. You must be a legal U.S. resident 18 years or older. Void where prohibited by law.

1. To enter, go to www.steelers.com and follow the on-line instructions to complete and submit an official entry form. One entry per person. Sweepstakes begins at 12:00 noon. Eastern Time (ET), April 24, 2008 and all entries must be received by 10:00 a.m. ET, April 26, 2008 to be eligible for the drawings. There will be five (5) drawings all occurring on April 29, 2008. Entries received for any drawing will be eligible for subsequent drawings. By entering this Sweepstakes, entrants agree to these Official Rules.

2. The Pittsburgh Steelers, Network Applications, their affiliates and subsidiaries (together, "Sponsor") are not responsible for lost, late, misdirected, unintelligible, returned, or undelivered, entries, e-mail, or for lost, interrupted or unavailable satellite, network, server, Internet Service Provider (ISP), website, or other connections availability, accessibility or traffic congestion, miscommunications, failed computer, network, telephone, satellite or cable hardware or software or lines, or technical failure, or jumbled, scrambled, delayed, or misdirected transmissions, computer hardware or software malfunctions, failures or difficulties, or other errors of any kind whether human, mechanical, electronic or network. Persons who tamper with or abuse any aspect of this sweepstakes, or website, or act in violation of the Official Rules, or act in any manner to threaten or abuse or harass any person, or violate website's Terms Of Service, as solely determined by Sponsor, will be disqualified. Sponsor is not responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate information whether caused by website users, tampering, hacking, or by any of the programming or equipment associated with or used in this sweepstakes, and assumes no responsibility for any errors, omission, deletion, interruption or delay in operation or transmission or communication line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorized website access. Any use of robotic, macro, automatic, programmed or like entry methods will void all such entries, and may subject that entrant to disqualification. Sponsor is not responsible for injury or damage to participants or any other persons, computer or property related to or resulting from participating in this sweepstakes. Should any portion of sweepstakes be, in Sponsor's sole opinion, compromised by virus, worms, bugs, non-authorized human intervention or other causes which, in sole opinion of Sponsor, corrupt or impair administration, security, fairness or proper play of this sweepstakes, or submission of entries, Sponsor reserves right at its sole discretion to suspend, modify, or terminate the sweepstakes, and randomly select winner from valid entries received prior to action taken, or otherwise as may be deemed fair and equitable by Sponsor. In the event of a dispute regarding entries received from multiple users having the same e-mail account, the authorized subscriber of the e-mail account used to enter will be deemed to be the entrant, and must comply with these rules. The authorized account subscriber is the natural person who is assigned the e-mail address by the ISP, on-line service provider, or other organization responsible for assigning e-mail addresses. All materials submitted become the property of Sponsor, and will not be returned.

3. Participants compete in the Draft Day game by submitting their guess as to the name of the football player that the Steelers will select in the first round of the 2007 NFL Draft (or first pick overall). Sweepstakes prize winners will be selected in drawings from all those participants who correctly identified the player chosen by the Steelers. Winners will be selected from among all eligible entries received by 10:00 AM ET on April 28, 20067 by an independent judging agency, whose decisions are final in all matters relating to this sweepstakes. Winners will be notified by phone or email. Winners may not substitute or transfer prize but sponsor reserves the right to substitute prize with a prize of equal or greater value.

4. All prizes will be awarded. Odds of winning depend on number of eligible entries received and the number of correct guesses. Prize winners may be required to complete, sign and return an affidavit of eligibility and liability and publicity release within 10 days of prize notification. In the event of noncompliance within this time period, prize will be forfeited and an alternate winner selected. Any prize notification or prize returned to the Sponsor or its agencies as undeliverable will result in disqualification and the awarding of that prize to an alternate winner.

5. Employees and the immediate families of employees of the Pittsburgh Steelers, Network Applications their affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, wholesale distributors, and individual retail licensees are ineligible. This sweepstakes is void where prohibited by law, and subject to federal, state and local regulations. Taxes, if any, are solely the responsibility of the winner.

6. Acceptance of prize offered constitutes permission to use winner's name, voice, biographical information, including home town and state of residence, and/or likeness for purposes of advertising and promotion without further compensation in all media now known or hereafter discovered world wide and on the World Wide Web without notice or review or approval as permitted by law.

By participating in this sweepstakes, participant agrees to be bound by all the Official Rules of this sweepstakes.
