This
marks the first regular-season game between the teams at University of Phoenix
Stadium...the teams opened the Cardinals new stadium last year in the
preseason...Pittsburgh leads the all-time regular-season series, 32-22-3,
including a 5-2 record since the NFL merger in 1970...the Steelers merged with
the Chicago Cardinals in 1944 to form Card-Pitt because of the lack of available
players due to World War II...the team finished 0-10 that season and played
their home games in Chicago...two of the last three regular-season games between
Pittsburgh and Arizona have gone into overtime, both games on the road...the
Steelers lost in overtime to the Cardinals, 20-17, Oct. 30, 1994, but defeated
Arizona, 26-20, Nov. 30, 1997...Pittsburgh is 11-14-2 all-time at Arizona and
have lost two of the last three
