75th Season Hall of Fame Display Grand Opening
PITTSBURGH
— The Steelers will hold a public
ribbon-cutting ceremony to celebrate the Grand Opening of the team’s 75th Season Hall of Fame
Display on Thursday, Sept. 20, in the Coca-Cola Great Hall at Heinz Field.
Gates will open at 5 p.m.
and the ceremony will kick off at 6 p.m.
Current and former Steelers will participate in the
program which will be emceed by Steelers broadcaster and former player Tunch Ilkin.
The 75th Season Hall of Fame Display includes
artifacts and memorabilia from each decade in Steelers
history.
During the ceremony, the Steelers will unveil a special
commemorative Steelers 75th
Season Celebration Poster. In
addition, two lucky fans in attendance will be randomly selected to each win a
pair of tickets to Sunday’s (Sept. 23) Steelers game against the
San
Francisco
49ers.
The ribbon-cutting event will be followed by a taping of
the McDonald’s Steelers Kid Zone
Show, which will also be open to the public. The $5 admission fee normally
charged to attend the taping will be waived for this week’s
show.
The Steelers 75th Season Hall of Fame Display
will be open to the public Monday through Friday from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. starting Friday, Sept. 21 and continuing through
Monday, Nov. 5.
