Donation Guidelines
The
Pittsburgh Steelers provide support to a wide range of charities and community
organizations each year through charitable donations.
Guidelines
The Steelers
try to accommodate most every request throughout the Western
Pennsylvania tri-state area.
However, due to the large number of requests, the team is unable to accommodate
other out-of-state donation requests.
Due to the
season sell-out at Heinz Field, we cannot donate tickets to community
organizations. However, we have no objection to individuals donating tickets to
your organization, so long as the proceeds from the auction, raffle or sale of
these tickets go to your organization for charitable
purposes.
The
Pittsburgh Steelers do not accept items from outside organizations, charitable
or otherwise, to be autographed for fundraising events. Any items that are sent
to us will be immediately returned to the sender. The Steelers will not assume
any responsibility for any items sent by outside organizations that are damaged
or lost.
It
is recommended that your event does not center around anticipation of a Steelers
donation item, but should be approached as a complimentary element to your
program.
Procedures
All donation
requests should be made in writing on your organization's letterhead at least
6 weeks prior to your event date. No telephone, fax or email requests
will be accepted. We ask that each organization submit only one donation
request per year in order to accommodate as many organizations as
possible.
