Heinz Field Management Issues Advisory for Saturday's Kenny
Chesney Concert
Fans Are
Encouraged to Arrive Early to Enjoy the Pre-Concert Festivities
PITTSBURGH— Heinz
Field management is reminding fans attending Saturday's (June 9) Kenny Chesney concert of stadium
policies that are in place at Heinz Field. Saturday is the only night that the
award-winning country music entertainer will perform in
Pittsburgh as part of
his Flip Flop Summer 2007 Tour.
Tiki Town
Presented by Y108, located on
Art Rooney
Avenue, and The
Coca-Cola Great Hall open at 1:30 p.m. All gates open by 2:30 p.m. Country music
star Jake Owen will perform live in
the Coca-Cola Great Hall at 3 p.m. The concert begins in the main bowl at 4:30
p.m.
Tiki Town, a specially themed area that will feature live performances,
vendors, food and beverages, will run from 1:30 – 7 p.m. and is open only to
fans with a concert ticket. Live entertainment will include a live broadcast on
Y108 beginning at 1:30 p.m. and live performances by local band NoMad (1:30
p.m.) and a steel drum band (3 p.m.).
Owen, one of country music's newest stars, will perform a free show
presented by Froggy Radio. Among the songs he will perform will be his newest
top ten hit "Starting with Me" and recent fan favorite "Yee Haw". All fans must
have a concert ticket to enter the Coca-Cola Great
Hall.
All parking lots open by noon. The ticket window for day of concert
ticket sales and Will Call open at 1 p.m. and are located at Gate
B.
Fans are reminded of the following stadium
policies:
·Coolers, Thermoses, bags,
backpacks, large purses (larger than 8½ by 11), cans, bottles, flasks, alcoholic
beverages, laser pointers, strollers, video/movie cameras, tripods, audio
recording equipment, banners/signs on poles, weapons and any other item deemed
dangerous and/or inappropriate are be prohibited.
·Small purses, fanny packs,
small camera cases and binocular cases will be permitted, however, all bags are
subject to inspection. All bags that do not pass security must be returned to
vehicles.
