JEROME BETTIS GRILLE 36 OPENS ON
PITTSBURGH, PA –
June 6, 2007 – At an event
held last night, retired Pittsburgh Steelers running back Jerome Bettis was
joined by family and friends, including Gladys Bettis, Steelers wide receiver
Hines Ward and former Tennessee Titan Eddie George as he rolled out a red carpet
and unveiled the new Jerome Bettis Grille 36 on the North Shore. The event included a surprise
performance for Mr. Bettis by the Notre Dame alumni marching band while DJ

The restaurant
boasts a $350,000 state-of-the-art audio visual system which features more than
40 high definition televisions.
Brandon King, who directed the kitchens at Celebrity Ventures' other
restaurants and was named Best Up and Coming Chef by the Columbus Dispatch and C Magazine in 2003, serves as Grille
36's Executive Chef. The menu provides a broad range of
casual dining offerings such as: -
Entrees
ranging from the signature Jerome 36 ounce Steak, burgers, ahi tuna,
lemon-garlic chicken, pecan-encrusted pork chops, tremendous salads, sandwiches
like a fried-cheddar and meatloaf hoagie and hot shrimp
BLT; -
A bar
that offers top shelf specialties including 36 different martinis, 36 different
beers and 36 different vodkas, in honor of the number Bettis wore while playing
for the Steelers; -
Desserts
such as hot deep dish apple pie, skillet peach cobbler and a banana split
