First Ever Asthma Sports Camp with Jerome Bettis and Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh of UPMC 
 
WHAT:      The inaugural Asthma Sports Camp, sponsored by Children’s Hospital’s Asthma Center, the Jerome Bettis Bus Stops Here Foundation and the American Respiratory Alliance, will be held July 7 and 8, 2009 at Duquesne University.
                   
                    The free camp is for children diagnosed with asthma who are entering grades 4 – 9. The camp will focus on how kids with asthma can learn to be physically active in a safe environment.
 
                    The camp includes educational activities, asthma-themed games of Jeopardy and bingo, and afternoon sports activities supervised by Mr. Bettis.
